No weddings or events today because it's "THE Game Day" in Morgantown!
No sense saving the best for last. The 2024 opener for West Virginia Football is THE Game of the 2024 Season in Morgantown! For the first time since October 24, 1992, the hated Nittany Lions of Penn State University come to Morgantown and this day -- and the entire Labor Day Weekend -- will be off-the-charts in Touchdown City. The Stadium, the Town, and the State will be rockin'!!!
Kick-off time will be determined at a later date, but we'll be setup before and after the game at our traditional tailgate location behind the WVU Agricultural Annex, just off Evansdale Drive and directly across from the Towers PRT Station.
Bring your tailgate supplies, favorite beverage(s), and your "A+" Game because we do it up right! Enjoy the company of great Mountaineer Fans of all ages from across the State, Chef Roger's culinary tailgate delights, college football on the DishNetwork HDTV system, and yours truly spinning the tailgate tunes! Sing along with us to David Allan Coe, Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" (with special "Mountaineer Fan lyrics"!), and, of course, The Greatest Song Ever Written, John Denver's "Take Me Home Country Roads"!
