So you're taking the plunge and have set the date. Now come some big decisions. One of those is "Who do we put in charge of our reception and making sure we and our guests have a great time?" Make that decision wisely as it will determine the course of your day AFTER the two of you walk down the aisle.

Sure you want an upbeat DJ who plays good dance music. But that's only part of it. What you really want -- and need -- is someone who quietly and effectively manages your reception from start to finish, allowing you to enjoy your day instead of worrying about the details.

That's where I come in. During a reception it's not unusual to find me planning upcoming shots with the photographer or directing guests through the buffet line. I'm even comfortable assisting the banquet staff with filling water glasses should they require an extra set of hands during the busy meal period. "That's not my job" is NOT part of my vocabulary. Doing everything I can to ensure that you, your family and your guests have a great time IS my job!
