"It's
bad enough having wedding jitters and planning problems, so what
a
relief
to find that we picked the best DJ for our special
day. Rick Rohn took us through the day, from the bridal march to
the wee hours on the dance floor. What a professional, and what a
fun guy. He kept the crowd into the music and all the activities
of the wedding. Rick seemed to have known us all our lives.....and
really personalized every comment. Our requests for music were always
met, as he played something for everyone. Rick also presented plenty
of photo opportunities for those with cameras and video recorders.
The day played out like something you'd see in the movies! Everyone
was happy and had so much fun. We'd welcome Rick as our DJ for
any event, as we did this year for our office Holiday Gala. I've
heard nothing but great comments from the staff as well! Thanks again
Rick - you are the best!" (photo

So
you're taking the plunge and have set the date. Now come some big
decisions. One of those is "Who do we put in charge of our
reception and making sure we and our guests have a great time?" Make
that decision wisely as it will determine the course of your day AFTER
the two of you walk down the aisle.
Sure you want
an upbeat DJ who plays good dance music. But that's only part
of it. What you really want -- and need -- is someone
who quietly
and effectively manages your reception from start to finish,
allowing you to enjoy your day instead of worrying about the
details.
That's where
I come in. With Rick Rohn Disc Jockey Productions, you get a
DJ and MC
with the experience to make certain your reception
runs smoothly and
on-time, an upbeat and friendly personality, and a wide musical
repertoire to get guests of all ages and musical tastes on the
dance floor and keep them there.
You also get
a "team player". That's not to be overlooked.
Much of my success comes from understanding the importance
of working with EVERYONE -- from
the
Food & Beverage
Staff to the Photographer -- to ensure that your day goes as
planned. During a reception it's not unusual to find me planning
upcoming shots with the photographer or directing guests through
the buffet line. I'm even comfortable assisting
the banquet staff with filling water glasses should they require
an extra set of hands during the busy meal period. "That's not
my job" is NOT part of my vocabulary. Doing everything I
can to ensure that you, your family and your guests have a great
time IS my job!
Lastly, you
get the personal service and commitment that comes from working
directly with the owners of the business... me and my wife Stacie.
With weddings
being the biggest part of my business, you'd figure this
to be the
first
section
I'd
complete.
Since it'll
be
my "primary" section
though, I'm putting a lot of thought into it! So look
for more information in the coming days...
I'll tell you
what makes my services so special for your Big Day. I'll also provide
you with a Reception Schedule that I've developed
over my 25+ years that will help to make the day run smoothly. In
the meantime, visit my Music and Rates & Policies sections which
are complete with much of the information you'll need to get your
wedding planning started.
